Volunteer at Beautiful Day at Garfield School – Nov. 20, 2010 8am – 4pm

Beautiful Day is returning to Garfield School to help the school’s new principal Michelle Griffith, staff, and school parents launch the new school year onto a course of improving student performance! Join us as we spend the day working at Garfield School: gardening, painting murals, organizing books in the library, organizing teacher work areas and campus wide cleaning. Take a quick lunch break and enjoy a fun barbeque for participating volunteers. Donations are gladly accepted to help towards the day’s expense.

Volunteer at Garfield School for Food Distribution

Serve The Peninsula is partnering with Garfield School and Second Harvest Food bank to provide a food distribution site at Garfield School. The Garfield School food distribution program is for the families attending Garfield School and other qualifying families in the area. The Garfield School program will be the on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.

Volunteer at Hawes Elementary School for Food Distribution

Distribution will be at 909 Roosevelt Ave., Redwood City in the Multipurpose Building. Volunteer to distribute food at Hawes Elementary School the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month with Serve The Peninsula and Second Harvest Food Bank.
